Real Estate Bulgaria has posted a new item, 'I have recently received a cash
inheritance from the sale of Bulgarian assets, am I subject to any UK tax?'

I am a bulgarian citizen, but have lived in the UK for a number of years and
have a UK resident status as far as the Taxman is concerned.
The inheritance comes from the sale of my mother's property in Bulgaria. My
mother was a bulgarian citizen and has never been to the UK.
