[Mongoose Mountain Bike] How come my downhill bike pedals squeak when I'm riding ?

Mongoose Mountain Bike has posted a new item, 'How come my downhill bike pedals

I just bought a used KHS DH50, its a downhill. Every time I ride around my
pedals/ cranks, make squeaking noises, how do I fix that problem. Also my
shifters are messed up, when I try shirting it still stays on a lower gear, or
